Join Annie Atkins the night before Hallowe’en, to celebrate her second children’s book, Letters from the Witch. Written by Atkins and illustrated by Taryn Knight, this witchy picture book features pull-out props designed using the same principles that Annie uses in her film work.

Annie will take the audience through her process of designing these pieces and writing in character, drawing comparisons with her work in the film industry and sharing some behind-the-scenes footage.

Dive into the magical world of letters, design and storytelling as Annie shares her unique insights and creative journey. And, in the spirit of the weekend, you’re warmly invited to come dressed as a witch or in your favourite Halloween fancy dress, hats, capes and a little creative magic are very much encouraged!

Letters from the Witch will be available to purchase at the event, followed by a book signing. Visitors are encouraged to come in fancy dress and will have the chance to pull a print and create their own keepsake to take home.

Come along for an enchanting celebration of books, creativity and Halloween mischief!
