Science Week Demo Day

Join us as part of Science Week 2026 to see our collection come to life. A volunteer panel of retired printers and compositors will demonstrate our collection in action. From the Linotype composing machine, to the Wharfedale printing press, to the Shaw Pen Ruling machine, witness the incredibly complex technologies that were used for centuries before our modern digital printers.
