Word, Cut, Print!
During this workshop, children taking part will learn about and explore the basic principles of letterpress printing and discover how, through combining letterpress with tinkering and making, they could express themselves creatively in word and print. Using the Sizzix die-cutting machine you will cut out your own letters to create a poster, ink it by hand and print it on the proofing press! Includes all materials. This workshop is conducted on the ground floor of the Museum, which is wheelchair accessible via the Café entrance.
Children’s Workshop: 10:30-11:30, €15 per child (ages 8-12)
Family Workshop: 12:30-13:30, €25 per family (ages 4+, max 4 per family)
