‘Poster Boys’ Talk

Join us to celebrate the exhibition ‘Poster Boys: the work of Kevin Scally and Brendan Foreman for the Abbey Theatre’ with a panel discussion with the curator and poster designers.

‘Poster Boys’ focusses on the two main posters designers for the Abbey during the 1970s-1980s, Kevin Scally and Brendan Foreman, and their methods of visually interpreting a stage production. The printing processes and technologies, which themselves were evolving during the period, are also examined. Curated by Dr Linda King.

The talk will take place from 5-6pm. The exhibition will be open before the event, as well as throughout the evening until 8pm.

Free, booking essential.

Accessibility: the talk will take place downstairs, which is fully accessible. The exhibition is on an upper level that regrettably can only be accessed by stairs.
