Mini-Tour of ‘Poster Boys’

Join one of our tour guides for an introduction to the exhibition ‘Poster Boys: the work of Kevin Scally and Brendan Foreman for the Abbey Theatre.’ Feel free to come early or stay after to have a closer look at the exhibition yourself. ‘Poster Boys’ focusses on the two main posters designers for the Abbey during this period, Kevin Scally and Brendan Foreman, and their methods of visually interpreting a stage production. The printing processes and technologies, which themselves were evolving during the period, are also examined. This exhibition is supported by the Department of Tourism, Culture, Arts, Gaeltacht, Sport and Media.

What People Are Saying
The experience in this museum was amazing! Better than I expected. It's really interesting to see so many different old print machines and how they worked. Our guide Liam made my day. He explained all the history to us. His English is so easy to understand. Also he is very kind and polite. I totally recommend a visit to this place.

The reviews say it all - excellent museum and Ciaran was a hoot. We enjoyed this museum immensely - probably the highlight of our few days in Dublin. Grabbed a takeaway coffee and smoothie from the neighbouring cafe which seemed very popular.
