Bookbinding (Hardbound Notebook) with Caroline Byrne

This workshop will introduce participants to the craft of bookbinding. Beginning with simple structures, participants will learn about paper and the other materials and tools needed for creating books. By the end of the day, students will have made a hardbound notebook, along with a variety of simpler pieces.

Caroline Byrne is a Fine Artist specialising in book art and original print. She has been teaching bookbinding for many years in the National Print Museum, artists studios and schools.

Includes all materials and a break for lunch. This workshop is conducted in the portable cabin outside the main Museum building, which is wheelchair-accessible by ramp.
