Original Heidelberg Platen Press

Description

The Heidelberg Platen Press was invented in Germany in 1913 and was manufactured right up until 1985. Due to its precision and efficiency, the Heidelberg was known as the “Rolls Royce” of fully automatic printing machines. The machine uses air suction to pick up and feed the paper into the press. It produces high quality work at speeds of up to 5,000 sheets per hour, and it is still the press of choice for many printers today.
