The Larger Team

Learners on the Cultural and Heritage Studies Course are trained to give guided tours of the Museum and assist with the visitor experience.

A panel of active retired printers and compositors bring the collection to life on a regular basis. Keeping with tradition, this group is called the “Chapel” and the Father of the Chapel (FOC) is Brendan Murphy.

The Museum also has a panel of younger practitioners who have participated in the Skills Transfer Programme and continue to train with and volunteer at the Museum to keep the craft of letterpress printing alive.

The Museum is additionally supported by the generosity of volunteers who donate their time by assisting with Front of House, Education and Outreach, the Library, documentation and other project work.
